At 3 Baoqing Road is the former residence of Zhou Zongliang, who was a pigment magnate in Shanghai at that time. On the big lawn inside the garden stand five small buildings of German style and four were served as the houses for Zhou's families. The single-storey building near the street was the hall to banquet the guests and hold parties at that time and now it is used as the studio of Xu Yuanzhang (Zhou Zongliang' grandson).
