Standing near Australian Consulate, the residence lies at 19 West Fuxing Road was built in 1930s with a plan resembling a rectangle. The construction features the typical Spanish style. The gently sloping roof is covered with Spanish pantiles and the verandas are edged with semi-circular small arches. The outer walls are surfaced with appliqués of Islam style and partially adorned by curved iron ornamentations. The space between the arched windows is ornamented by salomonicas and the living room on the first floor projects from the walls in the south.
