Built in 1934, Xinkang Garden is located at 1,273 Middle Huaihai Road. The garden residential apartments have 11 2-storey buildings with each building consisting of two houses and a courtyard in front. The construction follows Spanish style with red pantiles, spiral pillars and iron railings. The bottom floors are circled with outer corridors and have garages, while the second floors have concaved verandas in front of the living rooms.
